MRSA was created by the over-use and over-prescribing of antibiotics. “Doctors” routinely pass out antibiotics quickly and without much thought at all, even when it's not an appropriate treatment. The fact of the matter is that antibiotics do not help one bit when you're dealing with a virus such as a cold, cough or flu.

Despite the warnings even from the FDA in this case, “doctors” still pass out antibiotics like candy, for every reason under the sun, which has led to huge outbreaks of antibiotic resistant strains of staphylococcus aureus (staph infections). The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) reported on September 18, 2003 that the number of unnecessary antibiotics prescribed annually for viral infections was in the tens of millions.

 

I want to share something with you about antibiotics. This is quoted from an article entitled Antibiotics Put 142,000 Into Emergency Rooms Each Year: U.S. Centers for Disease Control Waits 60 Years to Study the Problem:

 

“Antibiotics can put you in the emergency room. Common antibiotics, the ones most frequently prescribed and regarded as safest, cause nearly half of emergencies due to antibiotics. Clearly antibiotics are not all they are claimed to be. Clearly they are dangerous. Clearly they are toxic. Clearly they need to be avoided unless absolutely necessary. Some very interesting information concerning antibiotics is that they cause yeast infections. How, you ask? Well, your stomach and intestines contain bacteria, “good” bacteria (beneficial flora) and “bad” bacteria, one of those being Candida (yeast, fungus). When you take antibiotics it kills all bacteria, including the good stuff. When the good bacteria gets too low there is no longer protection against the bad bacteria, leaving Candida with a free pass to do whatever it wants. If you do take antibiotics for whatever reason, always make sure that you're also taking a probiotic for support. Probiotics give your stomach and intestines the good bacteria that it needs, restoring balance to the system. Even if you're not taking antibiotics a good probiotic is essential in this day and age. I was once a CNA (Certified Nurse's Assistant) in nursing home facilities. One day I woke up with chickenpox looking boils on my lower belly, but they were quite a bit bigger than chickenpox. Colloidal Silver: The Universal Antibiotic
