Cannabis Cures Crohn's Disease

Coltyn Turner was on a Boy Scout outing on June 3rd, 2011 when he drowned in the lake swimming. Saved by his brother and three other scouts, he didn’t die but, unfortunately, he got very sick afterwards and it was assumed that he picked up some kind of a bacterial infection from the lake water. After roughly four months of testing and investigation, it was finally determined that Coltyn’s drowning incident had somehow triggered Crohn’s Disease. He was immediately put on a drug called Asacol, which is an anti-inflammatory drug associated with a long list of side-effects. Like most of the other drugs that the so-called “medical” establishment imposes onto innocent people, Asacol is dangerous and unnecessary. There are numerous herbs which reduce inflammation without side-effects and toxicity. They include:
►Turmeric[1] and Piperine[2] (black pepper) combined
► Green Tea[3]
► Tart Cherry[4]
► White Willow Bark[5]
► Pine Bark[6]
► Celery Seed[7]
► Boswellia[8]
► Cat’s Claw[9]
► Cloves[10]
► Ginger[11]
► Cinnamon[12]
► Eucalyptus[13]
► Others such as cannabis
Why would a toxic drug be the preference of the medical establishment when they can use the natural substances listed above and get better results? The science is clear, yet they gave Coltyn toxic shit instead of real medicine because it makes money for drug companies. If they prescribed him with Turmeric and Black Pepper or Cannabis Oil how much profit do you suspect they’d make? The Asacol didn’t work for Coltyn, neither did Entocort which is a drug that works by weakening the immune system sometimes causing “rarely fatal” infections to occur![14] Now that sounds like a great health plan! Why would “doctors” want to intentionally weaken someone’s immune system? Colon cancer can easily develop in Crohn’s patients and their first defense is a good, strong immune system! We all need a good strong immune system! What the hell are they doing here, in the great USA, anyway? This is bullshit. This drug also features a long list of nasty side-effects including:
“…cough, sore throat, fevers, chills, swelling of the face, tongue or throat, dizziness, trouble breathing…”[15]
Now that’s what I call impressive so-called “medicine.” Can we be a little bit more pathetic? And, of course, it didn’t do anything good for Coltyn. How could it? It made him worse. He was miserable. He wouldn’t go outside or engage in his normal routine of bicycling or gymnastics, he avoided social activities and he was in constant pain. According to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN his growth had actually stunted. He had ceased to grow and was basically dying, his condition was worsening, day by day.
So, then they went to Remicade. The night of his first treatment with that drug he was in far worse pain that he’d ever been in before. In other words, they made him worse again! Keep in mind that this is the standard line of treatment for all Crohn’s patients in the USA’s medical system. These drugs make billions in profits for Big Pharma, and they don’t work at all but they keep right on pushing them onto innocent people, which is a criminal act of mass murder, using these ineffective drugs that kill people as the first line of treatment while they ignore true cures.
Coltyn continued to receive Remicade for the next two months. After six treatments he had developed Rheumatoid Arthritis and drug induced Lupus. His body had also built antibodies against the Remicade drug which gave him what is called “serum sickness.”
And then came the Methotrexate, which gave Coltyn a swollen face and terrible nosebleeds on the very first dose, so they didn’t do that to him again and moved onto Prednisone, a steroid commonly prescribed for Crohn’s.
“Prednisone side effects: Call your doctor at once if you have: blurred vision, eye pain, or seeing halos around lights; swelling, rapid weight gain, feeling short of breath; severe depression, feelings of extreme happiness or sadness, changes in personality or behavior, seizure (convulsions); bloody or tarry stools, coughing up blood; pancreatitis (severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back, nausea and vomiting, fast heart rate); low potassium (confusion, uneven heart rate, extreme thirst, increased urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limp feeling); or dangerously high blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure). Other common prednisone side effects may include: sleep problems (insomnia), mood changes; increased appetite, gradual weight gain; acne, increased sweating, dry skin, thinning skin, bruising or discoloration; slow wound healing; headache, dizziness, spinning sensation; nausea, stomach pain, bloating; or changes in the shape or location of body fat (especially in your arms, legs, face, neck, breasts, and waist). This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.”[16]
After a period of eight months on that ridiculous drug, Coltyn had developed:
“…moon face, fatigue, increased appetite, joint pain, slight bone deterioration.”[17]
I have a real problem with all of this. Does anyone else see what I mean about these drugs and how they’re putting innocent patients through torture and agony while at the same time never curing a damn thing, or is it just me? The chapter on Epilepsy details the cases of 2 innocent little baby girls (and one boy) who were put through terrible nonsense—chemical drug after chemical drug—only to make them worse. As soon as cannabis was used, they all got well again! That’s standard practice in America, doing that to little kids! After they become vaccine damaged, the next round of poison comes in. Proper medicine that works is ignored while they continue to kill children with drugs that make Big Pharma lots of money.
After Prednisone they moved on to extremely painful Humira shots. He would cry every time he had a shot and his brother had to carry him to bed because his leg was paralyzed with pain after it was administered by his Dad at night, and that’s only one of many problems with Humira.
“Serious infections have happened in people taking HUMIRA. These serious infections include tuberculosis (TB) and infections caused by viruses, fungi, or bacteria that have spread throughout the body. Some people have died from these infections. Your doctor should test you for TB before starting HUMIRA, and check you closely for signs and symptoms of TB during treatment with HUMIRA, even if your TB test was negative. If your doctor feels you are at risk, you may be treated with medicine for TB.”[18]
The above warning is from the official site of Humira. After several months on Humira, Coltyn supposedly felt a tad bit better. In addition to feeling only slightly better over the months taking that drug, his reward for taking that drug was being diagnosed with Tuberculosis (TB). When he was given a lymph node biopsy in order to determine what kind of TB it was, they didn’t remove the lymph nodes, but removed the sub-mandibular salivary gland instead! Excuse me, but at a fast food restaurant if I order “no onions” and it comes out with onions on it, that’s not a really big deal. I can just get a new one. But at the hospital? Can we be a little more stupid, worthless and incompetent? I’m not sure if that’s possible. Keep in mind that this was all totally unnecessary, all they had to do was give the poor boy some herb, not butcher him with knives and scalpels, poison him with chemical drugs and make him worse as opposed to better. Eventually, the “medical” establishment determined that it wasn’t TB, but suspected it might be T-Cell Lymphoma instead. After more testing they decided it was just a bacterial infection and told him that he only had three options for continued treatment:
1 - Cimzia, a drug worse than every one he’d tried so far.
2 - Surgical removal of the painful, diseased bowel.
3 - “Alternative” medicine on their own.
Coltyn wasn’t having any more drugs.
“I'm not taking Cimzia. Find another way!”
He’d already been doing some research on his own and Cimzia wasn’t an option in his mind, which is similar to Humira; typically the one that follows Humira in their systematic poisoning of Crohn’s patients with drug after drug. His parents agreed that he’d already been through far too much from the other so-called “treatments.” The surgery wasn’t appealing at all either, not to mention, during the course of their research they’d seen a study out of Israel that indicated great hope and promise for Coltyn; Cannabis. And so “alternative” became their plan of action.
Coltyn and his Dad arrived in Colorado in March of 2014, got a place to live, found a doctor who would issue Coltyn a medical marijuana card, and then they got him started on his treatment plan. On March 25th, 2014, Coltyn started taking a vegan capsule 4 times per day. A few hours after his first dose he said he felt weird tickling sensations where he usually feels pain. So, on cannabis oil the only side-effects are that you can feel the healing taking place! You might get hungry or tired, but you won’t get a bacterial infection, TB, bone problems, hives, rashes, severe pain, fevers, chills, dizziness, etc.
“For the last 7 months, we've had our son back! He's pain-free and full of life! He has gained approximately 10 pounds and grown 4 inches!! On July 11th, at 2:30AM, Coltyn hiked 5 miles up Blue Mountain while attending his first Boy Scout Camp since his accident. Tommy and Skyler hiked with him, with tears of joy running down their cheeks! No more wheelchair!!”[19]
Well, I’ll be damned. Coltyn uses an oil of equal amounts of CBD to THC because unlike with Epilepsy, the CBD all by itself wasn’t working, he had to incorporate THC before he was healed. He’s still doing great to this day and he goes out giving public speeches where he tells the world:
“I’d rather be illegally ALIVE than legally DEAD.”

Mike Wise is a former professional skateboarder and champion athlete with the University of Texas where he earned a degree in Radio-Television-Film in 2009. He is currently one of the most well-known activists in the world fighting for the cause of cannabis oil as a medicine and has spoken in over 30 different countries on the subject. Mike points out that cannabis oil can cure serious health issues such as diabetes, arteriosclerosis, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, asthma, psoriasis, as well as some of the deadliest forms of cancer. He has personally cured over 2,000 people from various ailments using cannabis oil, including cancer. This all started when he was diagnosed with Crohn’s in 2014.
“It was 2014. I had been dealing with symptoms related to Crohn’s disease since 2000. As an athlete, I was always busy traveling and competing. Doing so caused much damage to build up in my body after years of this abuse. The symptoms got worse and worse until I began vomiting blood every morning at 4am when I would wake up, and several times throughout the day; every day.” - Mike Wise
There aren’t any stories about the medical system’s treatment of Mike and how many different drugs he had to take because he was smart enough not to pursue that route right from the beginning. He was already enlightened about the herb and was well aware of its medicinal properties. He had been growing weed at home illegally since 2005 and had actually been in Colorado making a film about families who had to move from other states to Colorado in order to gain legal access to medical cannabis there. (Stories like the kids you read about earlier in this chapter in the section about Epilepsy.) It’s called Illegally Alive and can be viewed for free at this link. [1] He’d been meeting with Rick Simpson, another very well-known activist concerning cannabis curing cancer. Rick has a specific protocol to follow that is very effective. Mike hadn’t yet been using that protocol and was consequently still in pretty bad shape. So bad, in fact, that he was attending a conference where Rick was speaking and had to go outside to vomit. He also had blood in his stool. When Rick saw how bad Mike was feeling he scolded him out of concern for him:
“You really need to get on this oil, brother. For God sakes, Mike! Take the oil! It would really benefit you.” - Rick Simpson
“After getting the kick in the butt I needed from the godfather of cannabis oil himself, I ingested 90 grams in 120 days of high THC oil and cured all my symptoms relating to Crohn’s disease. This first 45 grams I ingested orally, the second 45 grams I took via suppository. Now I only take 1 gram per month as a maintenance dose.” - Mike Wise
Mike is very quick to point out that he never elected for any surgeries of any kind, and that he also adjusted his diet by eliminating all processed foods, sugars and carbohydrates. He’d have symptoms again if he did. He also did what he could to eliminate stress from his life. Taking all of those factors together, he has achieved success. When he decided to report on his success publicly on social media, he had many questions, comments and requests. When he got his caregiver license in Colorado, he planted 500 seeds for his own personal use, and every time he gets a request from someone for oil, he never turns them away. He even volunteers his own time to help them make the oil.
“The usual dose I start cancer patients on is 60 grams within 90 days. If the patient has undergone any chemotherapy or radiation, they will need much more than 60 grams. Cannabis is not a miracle drug in the sense that most people think. The cannabis itself doesn’t necessarily cure you; your body heals and cures itself. Cannabis simply triggers this reaction to occur. You see, cannabis works like a key inserted into a lock. Your bodies contain what is known scientifically as CB1 and CB2 receptors spread throughout its entire system and on every organ. When cannabis gets into the body and into these CB1 and CB2 receptors it works like a key opening a lock, the receptors then began firing correctly and any imperfections or illnesses which are contained within your body will immediately begin to get healed because these receptors are literally located everywhere within your body.” – Mike Wise

Here is a list of scientific studies from the US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health also known as PubMed. Take note of the study from 2008 that says IBS is caused by endocannabinoid deficiency in the body:
A 2008 study suggested that diseases like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) are actually caused by an endocannabinoid deficiency in the body. “Migraine, fibromyalgia, IBS and related conditions display common clinical, biochemical and pathophysiological patterns that suggest an underlying clinical endocannabinoid deficiency that may be suitably treated with cannabinoid medicines.”: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18404144
A 2009 study found investigated the effect of CBD in a murine model of colitis. The study results indicate, “In DNBS-induced colitis, cannabidiol reduced colon injury, decreased expression of inflammatory markers and inducible nitric oxide synthase, and decreased reactive oxygen species production…In conclusion, cannabidiol, a likely safe compound, prevents experimental colitis in mice.”: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19690824/
A 2010 study evaluated the effects of CBD and THC (alone and combined) in animal models of colitis. “In conclusion, treatment with THC, CBD and sulphasalazine reduced signs of damage, inflammation and functional disturbances in a rat model of Crohn's disease…CBD on its own also displayed beneficial actions, such as improved spontaneous activity and contractility to carbachol, which extends previous findings (Malfait et al., 2000; Borrelli et al., 2009) and further suggests that this phytocannabinoid, which is devoid of psychoactive properties, could help alleviate symptoms in human IBD. Combined treatment with CBD and THC proved beneficial in TNBS-induced colitis in the rat, as it resulted in additive effects on some functional parameters and as CBD caused an ineffective dose of THC (5 mg·kg−1) to produce beneficial effects of the same magnitude as those produced by a higher dose of THC (10 mg·kg−1) in the absence of CBD. It is possible therefore that the benefit-to-risk ratio may well be greater when CBD and THC are co-administered to ameliorate colitis than when THC is administered alone.": https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2931570/
A 2011 study proved that CBD reduces intentinal inflammation in both humans and mice through control of the neuroimmune axis. The study states, “CBD targets enteric reactive gliosis, counteracts the inflammatory environment induced by LPS in mice and in human colonic cultures derived from UC patients. These actions lead to a reduction of intestinal damage mediated by PPARgamma receptor pathway. Our results therefore indicate that CBD indeed unravels a new therapeutic strategy to treat inflammatory bowel diseases.”: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22163000/
A 2012 study concluded that topical and systemic (but not oral) CBD improves colitis in mice. “To summarize, CBD was given via 3 different routes of delivery to mice and its effect on the severity of TNBS colitis was compared. We confirm that CBD given intraperitoneally is protective, and we add that CBD given per rectum also offers protective effects, suggesting that rectal application of cannabinoids for the therapy of intestinal inflammation may be a feasible option.”: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3668621/
A 2013 medical review further substantiated CBD’s potential as an anti inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) drug. “CBD is a very promising compound since it shares the typical cannabinoid beneficial effects on gut lacking any psychotropic effects. For years, its activity has been enigmatic for gastroenterologists and pharmacologists, but now it is evident that this compound may interact at extra-cannabinoid system receptor sites, such as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma. This strategic interaction makes CBD as a potential candidate for the development of a new class of anti-IBD drugs.”: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22815234
A 2016 study found that high CBD extracts reduce chemically induced intestinal inflammation and hypermotility in mice. “In conclusion, CBD Botanical Drug Substance (BDS), given after the inflammatory insult, attenuates injury and motility in intestinal models of inflammation. These findings sustain the rationale of combining CBD with other minor Cannabis constituents and support the clinical development of CBD BDS for IBD treatment.": https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27757083/
