"Antidepressant" SSRI Drugs Cause Suicidal Thoughts and Kill People

Antidepressant drugs are associated with suicidal thoughts and batshit crazy behavior. They do more damage to people than anything else. They have severe side effects, which I will list off soon, and even the FDA issued the following:

“Antidepressant Use in Children, Adolescents, and Adults [5/2/2007] The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today proposed that makers of all antidepressant medications update the existing black box warning on their products' labeling to include warnings about increased risks of suicidal thinking and behavior, known as suicidality, in young adults ages 18 to 24 during initial treatment (generally the first one to two months). List of Antidepressant Drugs with Medication Guides Anafranil (clomipramine) Asendin (amoxapine) Aventyl (nortriptyline) Celexa (citalopram hydrobromide) Cymbalta (duloxetine) Desyrel (trazodone HCl) Elavil (amitriptyline) Effexor (venlafaxine HCl) Emsam (selegiline) Etrafon (perphenazine/amitriptyline) fluvoxamine maleate Lexapro (escitalopram oxalate) Limbitrol (chlordiazepoxide/amitriptyline) Ludiomil (maprotiline) Marplan (isocarboxazid) Nardil (phenelzine sulfate) nefazodone HCl Norpramin (desipramine HCl) Pamelor (nortriptyline) Parnate (tranylcypromine sulfate) Paxil (paroxetine HCl) Pexeva (paroxetine mesylate) Prozac (fluoxetine HCl) Remeron (mirtazapine) Sarafem (fluoxetine HCl) Seroquel (quetiapine) Sinequan (doxepin) Surmontil (trimipramine) Symbyax (olanzapine/fluoxetine) Tofranil (imipramine) Tofranil-PM (imipramine pamoate) Triavil (perphenazine/amitriptyline) Vivactil (protriptyline) Wellbutrin (bupropion HCl) Zoloft (sertraline HCl) Zyban (bupropion Hcl)” - SOURCE

Yes, they cause suicidal thoughts and they cause people to quite literally go off the deep end as well! Allow me to illustrate my point with quotes from a story entitled Every Mass Shooter in the Last 20 Years Has One Thing In Common, And It's Not Guns. (The website featured in the article no longer exists, but the original article is still online. Link below):

“The overwhelming evidence points to the single largest common factor in all of these incidents...the fact that all of the perpetrators were either actively taking powerful psychotropic drugs or had been at some point in the immediate past before they committed their crimes. Multiple credible scientific studies going back more then a decade, as well as internal documents from certain pharmaceutical companies that suppressed the information show that SSRI drugs ( Selective Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors ) have well known, but unreported side effects, including but not limited to suicide and other violent behavior. One need only Google relevant key words or phrases to see for themselves. www.ssristories.com is one popular site that has documented over 4500 mainstream media reported cases from around the World of aberrant or violent behavior by those taking these powerful drugs. The following (is a) list of mass shooting perpetrators and the drugs they were taking or had been taking shortly before their horrific actions. I leave it to the individual readers to make up their own minds if...the list of mass shooters...link to psychotropic drugs:

• Eric Harris age 17 (first on Zoloft then Luvox) and Dylan Klebold aged 18 (Columbine school shooting in Littleton, Colorado), killed 12 students and 1 teacher, and wounded 23 others, before killing themselves. Klebold's medical records have never been made available to the public.

It was also confirmed that Aurora “Batman” shooter James Holmes was taking Sertraline and Clonazepam. And now that we've seen that these drugs cause batshit crazy behavior, let's look at some of the other side effects. This is from WebMD.com:

“Call 911 or other emergency services right away if you have: Trouble breathing. Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor if you have: Hives. Thoughts of suicide. Agitation and restlessness. Seizures. Fast heartbeat. Nausea and vomiting. Common side effects of this medicine include: Loss of sexual desire or ability. Irritability. Trouble sleeping or drowsiness. Headache. Changes in appetite. FDA advisories. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued: An advisory on antidepressant medicines and the risk of suicide. Talk with your doctor about these possible side effects and the warning signs of suicide. A warning about taking triptans, used for headaches, with SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) or SNRIs (selective serotonin/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors). Taking these medicines together can cause a very rare but serious condition called serotonin syndrome.” - SOURCE

Remember that these are supposed to be “medicines” that promote mental/psychological wellbeing! Can we get just a little bit more ridiculous? With all of this evidence that they clearly do not promote mental/psychological well being, with all of this evidence that they actually promote the exact opposite in far, far too many cases, wouldn't it be safe to say that these drugs should be pulled from the market? Anyone with any common sense can simply look at the facts and derive that conclusion! It's not rocket science. But of course the powers that be do not see it that way. They think that issuing an official Black Box Warning is good enough, and then they allow business as usual, never mind all of the school shootings, etc. because what this is really all about is making money for the drug companies, nothing more! The FDA has no intention of removing these drugs from the market, because they are working in support of the drug companies and looking out for their profit margins. The idea that the FDA looks out for the safety of the people is a bullshit lie, plain and simple. Clearly these drugs are dangerous beyond description and clearly they should not be used under any circumstances! But the FDA allows them to be prescribed and sold at alarming rates. Harvard Medical School's website has this to say about it:

“Remember when the best-selling book Listening to Prozac came out almost 20 years ago? Now Americans aren’t just reading about Prozac. They are taking it and other antidepressants (Celexa, Effexor, Paxil, Zoloft, to name just a few) in astounding numbers. According to a report released yesterday by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), the rate of antidepressant use in this country among teens and adults (people ages 12 and older) increased by almost 400% between 1988–1994 and 2005–2008. The federal government’s health statisticians figure that about one in every 10 Americans takes an antidepressant. And by their reckoning, antidepressants were the third most common prescription medication taken by Americans in 2005–2008, the latest period during which the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) collected data on prescription drug use.” - SOURCE

And from MedScape.com:

“...the antipsychotic aripiprazole (Abilify, Otsuka Pharmaceutical) had the highest sales, at nearly $6.5 billion, according to a new report from research firm IMS Health on the top 100 selling drugs in the United States.” - SOURCE

“Antipsychotic”? Ha! Who are they fooling? Wait, never mind. Obviously they're fooling millions of gullible people. One look at their sales records makes that obvious. Who keeps these drug dealers in business? Ignorant people do. People who are willing to comply with their “doctor”, the sales reps for Big Pharma, that's who! And with profits like that who cares about safety? Sure, people go apeshit and shoot up schools with machine guns, but hey, who cares? Can you tell I'm a little bit perturbed by all of this? That's an understatement. I am very upset by all of this. The more people who read this and wake up to the corruption of the drug pushers and wake up to the reality of safe and natural treatments for their ailments, the better! Humanity must awaken and remove these scumbags from power. If everyone grew their own herbs and used it as medicine, how much power would the drug pushers have? Not much. Not any! Their party would be over. If everyone did what I am doing and acted as their own naturopathic physician, how powerful would the drug paradigm be? The goal here is to educate the people and raise consciousness for the good of humanity. Herbs for depression? Well yes, but it goes beyond that. Holistic medicine emphasizes finding the root cause of problems. We must analyze our lifestyles, our diets, our surroundings, our thinking processes, and everything else. If your lifestyle includes ingesting chemicals into your body on a daily basis, for example diet soda (which contains aspartame, an addictive, cancer causing neurotoxin which causes depression and is associated with 92 different health issues and other “foods” that people consume that are loaded down with chemicals, then that needs to be considered. If you're exposed to lots of EMF's at work, exposed to environmental toxins, sit in front of a computer every day, or whatever, then those things need to be considered as well. Do you have positive or negative thinking habits? Is the glass half full or half empty? All of these things are capable of contributing to depression and health problems. I once read about a woman who had been severely depressed for decades, 30+ years, in and out of mental institutions, jail, etc. because she couldn't manage her moods, they had complete control of her. Eventually she got a tip from someone who suggested she have her mercury fillings removed and just like that, within a few days of removing them her depression “magically” disappeared. That's all it took. And that's my point. She was subjected to the mainstream drug pushing paradigm for many years, on and off of various drugs, in and out of various institutions, but they had no answers because they don't even look for the root cause of the problem, they just drug people. My point is that there are numerous factors involved in every health issue. There is a cause, sometimes it's a direct cause, sometimes it's a more compound issue or more complex cause, but ultimately there is a cause, and that is the goal of holistic medicine practitioners as opposed to just providing drugs (or even herbs) and then calling it good. The cause has to be addressed, that's the main goal. Drugs are commonly prescribed for symptom relief but they typically only cause new symptoms while merely putting a mask on the old ones. That's a lousy treatment method. Holistic medicine practitioners have much more than that in mind when they use herbs and supplements. They aren't just looking to mask symptoms. Herbs and supplements aren't replacements for drugs, not in the long run. Herbs do address symptoms, but in a safe and natural way, and they also provide nutrition and serve as preventatives. Drugs do no such thing. Deficiencies cause disease. In the long run herbs provide nutritional support and assist in balancing the body's system, eliminating health problems naturally. This certainly makes a lot more sense that popping a drug full of toxic chemicals to mask a symptom wouldn't you say? It's called being wise and rejecting harmful methods of so-called “health care”. The other goal, aside from finding the cause of the problem, is to address all deficiencies, because when your body has all of the nutrients that it requires you'll feel better in general and you won't get sick nearly as much. And that is why I take three large handfuls of supplements and herbs every day. My goal is to fortify my nutrients and address all deficiencies, providing myself with preventative medicine. When it comes to depression you can be assured that diet is very commonly a factor. Lousy eating and nutritional habits create people who simply don't feel good. Why don't you feel good? Because you're not taking proper care of your body. When you don't give your body proper nutrition it complains. One of the “side effects” of lousy diet and nutrition habits is depression. Others include low energy, headaches, water retention, gout, diabetes, high lipids, high blood pressure, etc. Improper eating habits and lack of proper nutrition are huge factors when it comes to all aspects of health. If you eat pizza, french-fries and Coca-Cola for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with coffee and donuts in the morning for breakfast, how do you suspect you'll feel as a result of a diet like that? If you're not feeling well physically do you think you'll feel well mentally? It all goes together. You can't just eat junk food and chemicals and then pop an “antidepressant” full of yet more chemicals and call it good. You need to accept personal responsibility for your mental and physical health. Does this make sense to you? I certainly hope so, and I also hope that you're realizing now that most cases of depression are in fact preventable and repairable without drugs, simply by addressing lifestyle factors, diet and nutritional deficiencies. The following deficiencies can lead to symptoms of depression:

- Biotin

- Chromium

- Folic Acid

- GABA

- Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)

- Niacin

- Omega-3 Fatty Acids

- Pantothenic Acid

- Riboflavin

- S-adenosyl-methionine (SAM-e)

- Selenium

- Thiamine

- Thyroid deficiency (hypothyroidism)

- Trace Minerals

- Vitamin B6

- Vitamin B12

- Vitamin C

- Vitamin D

- Zinc + others!

Once again, deficiencies cause illness, in this case a mental illness called depression. And again, I take three large handfuls of supplements a day because they keep the “doctor” away! Proper nutrition can save you from dealing with many health problems, and if you think that you can get all of the nutrients that your body requires from your food, think again! Not possible! Taking supplements is mandatory, especially in the day and age of chemical and genetically modified “food” and microwave ovens where virtually all of the nutritional value is destroyed! The general idea behind SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) drugs is that they assist in inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin at the nerve endings in the brain, the result being more serotonin binding to the receptor sites transmitting a more powerful serotonin signal. Serotonin, you see, is a very powerful neurotransmitter acting as the brain's own natural anti-depressant and tranquilizer. Low levels of serotonin do indeed lead to depression and many other conditions. Not only does serotonin act as an antidepressant and tranquilizer, it also regulates the activity of many other neurotransmitters. But the problem with SSRI drugs is their severe side effects. Most people who take these drugs, if they're not experiencing violent reactions to these drugs, are at minimum experiencing at least some side effects. According to Dr. Michael Murray N.D. in his book What the Drug Companies Won't Tell You and Your Doctor Doesn't Know roughly 20% of people experience nausea; 20% experience headaches; 15% anxiety and nervousness; 14% insomnia; 12% drowsiness; 12% diarrhea; 9.5% dry mouth; 8% sweating and tremor; and 3% rash. He also says that many of his patients experienced rapid weight gain due to using these drugs because they “alter an area of the brain that regulates both serotonin levels and utilization of glucose” intensifying hunger and cravings. There is no argument that low serotonin levels lead to depression and that raising those levels can relieve symptoms, but the controversy lies in how to achieve that goal. People with no common sense argue that these drugs are OK, but what do you now think, considering what I have shown you so far concerning the severe side effects and violent behaviors associated with these drugs? Holistic health practitioners have other ideas about how to raise serotonin levels naturally and without those very negative side effects. There are numerous herbs and supplements which increase serotonin levels and act as tranquilizers to the nervous system. I'll start by listing the ones that specifically either raise or aid serotonin levels and/or functionality:

- 5-Hydroxytriptophan (“5-HTP” a natural precursor to serotonin)

- Gingko Biloba

- Omega-3 Fatty Acids (Fish Oil)

- SAM-e

- St. John's Wort

In an article entitled 5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) vs. Prozac (SSRIs) by Ward Dean, M.D., James South, M.A. and Jim English they state:

“Fortunately, a safe, natural and effective alternative...has been researched for over 30 years. This substance, L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP)..is extracted from the seeds of the Griffonia plant. In one study, the antidepressant effects of 5-HTP were compared with fluvoxamine, a prescription Prozac-like drug used in Europe. The 5-HTP patients showed slightly better treatment response than the fluvoxamine group, yet had significantly fewer and less severe side effects. The researchers note: 'Regarding tolerance and safety, however, 5-HTP proved superior to fluvoxamine as was apparent from a marked difference in severity of untoward side effects between the two compounds. The study presented here ...strongly confirm[s] the efficacy of 5-HTP as an antidepressant.' The many successful published studies using 5-HTP show that 5-HTP, by naturally elevating brain serotonin, can alleviate the serotonin-deficiency syndrome without any help from SSRI drugs. Yet the success of SSRI drugs is crucially dependent upon the brain producing adequate serotonin (from either tryptophan or 5-HTP), and that brain serotonin production is the controlling or rate-limiting variable underlying the apparent success of SSRIs. It appears that the more logical and economically sound choice to alleviate conditions that result from the serotonin deficiency syndrome is 5-HTP, the immediate precursor of the deficient substance.” - SOURCE

As you can see above, a natural substance extracted from Griffonia plant seeds (5-HTP) is very effective, more effective, for depression than drugs, and it doesn't cause suicidal thoughts or mass shootings! The following herbs/supplements address the nervous system and they do a fine job of it too:

- Black Currant Oil

- Cannabis

- Chamomile

- Chinese Club Moss

- Feverfew

- Fennel Seed

- Hops

- Inositol

- Kava Kava

- Lecithin

- Lobelia

- Marshmallow Root

- Passion Flower

- Valerian Root

- White Willow

Clearly drugs are totally unnecessary. By looking at the comparison between 5-HTP and the “Prozac-like drug” we can see that 5-HTP was a more beneficial treatment on every level. And when you combine that with other factors such as diet, environmental toxins, and others, the need for these drugs becomes virtually null and void. In rare cases where people are committed to institutions we need to remember that mainstream “medicine” does nothing to try and address the root cause of the problem. Their methods are drugs first with everything else either taking secondary priority or no priority at all, which is, of course, and act in criminal negligence and a crime against humanity. Clearly, the paradigm must change!
