Cancer is a Fungus: The Sodium Bicarbonate Cure
Meet Dr. Simoncini, a Roman doctor with unorthodox yet effective methods of treating cancer. His book is entitled Cancer is a Fungus and because sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) is one of the most powerful antifungal components in nature. Yes, the main ingredient in baking soda! Simoncini points to the similarities between cancerous cells and fungi like Candida, and in fact, claims that all cancer is an out of control fungal overgrowth (Candida) which occurs due to a weakened immune system. The list of similarities between cancer and fungi is quite extensive and it's a known fact that fungal infections can and do cause cancer, not to mention that they are very commonly correlated with leukemia, and all oncologists know that much.

Simoncini points out that all cancer infections are white in color just like Candida, both cancer and fungi require sugar to live, they're both anaerobic (live without oxygen), both produce lactic acid and both are impacted by antifungal medicines. Candida is normally kept under control by the immune system, but when it becomes weakened the Candida can expand and build a colony just like cancer. Eventually it moves inside of the organs and the immune system responds by building a defensive barrier with its own cells, which is what a tumor is. The Cancer Industry claims that the spreading of cancer to other parts of the body is caused by malignant cells escaping from their original location. Simoncini says that the spread of cancer is triggered by the Candida fungus, escaping from the original source.
In addition to his point that cancer feeds off of sugar he emphasized two other main points in his book, which is entitled Cancer: Its Cause and Its Cure:
“Cancer has only one prime cause, the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of body cells by an anaerobic cell respiration. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous.” Also “No disease, including cancer, can exist in an alkaline environment.”
Dr. Warburg emphasized that the root cause of cancer is oxygen deficiency, which induces an acidic state, and, of course, a lack of oxygen can cause fungal infection. Dr. Warburg also discovered that because cancerous cells are anaerobic (do not require oxygen as normal cells do) and can develop from a lack of oxygen, they cannot survive in the presence of high levels of oxygen, as found in an alkaline state. He pointed out that if you want to prevent and cure cancer the best way to go about that is to flood the system with oxygen and alkalinity as well as maintain a healthy diet low in sugar because sugar not only induces an acidic state, it feeds cancer (and Candida). Cancer quite literally feeds off of glucose (sugar) as its main fuel source.
“Cancer cells take in Glucose as a primary food; lactic acid is then excreted from the cancer cells into the blood. The blood carries the lactic acid to the liver, where it is converted back into glucose, which in turn feeds the cancer cells. This occurs in all known cancer cells. It has been so well documented for so long, that many years ago, serum glucose levels were used to monitor the progress of the disease. It was well established that as the disease progressed, serum glucose levels would rise. Knowing this, the wisdom of removing sugars and simple carbohydrates from the diet becomes obvious. The ignorant use of glucose I.V.’s in cancer patients to administer medications also becomes painfully obvious. The object is to make it difficult for cancer cells to reproduce. Why fuel them with a primary requirement? Likewise, cancer cells are unable to efficiently use protein or complex carbohydrates for food. But most importantly, the healthy cells of our body and immune system are able to use these as fuel, and for repair. It becomes imperative that we adapt the patient to a diet that includes protein and complex carbohydrates and eliminate the rest. Equally important, we must find treatment that not only attacks the cancer at a cellular level, but also feeds and improves the immune system at the same time.” - Dr. José Benavente, Director of Public Health, Ministry of Health, Valencia, Venezuela
Like Dr. Jose' says above, not only does a low carb diet starve cancer cells of their main source of food (sugar, glucose), it gives them little else to live off of because cancer cells have a hard time using proteins as food. Additionally, the body can make great use of protein to enhance the immune system and to burn as fuel. The old myth that your body “needs” carbohydrates for fuel is just that, a myth. Proteins and fats burn just fine for fuel, which is why people on low carb diets lose weight so fast, they are quite literally burning their body fat as fuel. Leaving sugar and food that turns into sugar out of your diet is not only protective against cancer and Candida, it's simply one of the best things you can do for yourself. Period.
One of the best methods of treating cancer is to create an alkaline state in the body and what's a better way to do that than with sodium bicarbonate? It's simply one of the best ways to combat acid and it also floods oxygen into the body which creates alkalinity and kills cancer. So why not make use of it? That's exactly what Dr. Simoncini did. His method says that the best way to eliminate a tumor is to administer the sodium bicarbonate as close to it as possible, preferably right at the tumor. He administers it orally for cancer of the digestive tract, he uses enemas for rectal cancer, douches for uterine and vaginal cancer, injections for the lungs and brain, and inhalation for the upper respiratory. For internal organs he locates the arteries, for example the arteries in the liver, and pumps sodium bicarbonate in via a catheter. Depending on where the cancer is, he does his best to make sure that it comes into direct contact with the sodium bicarbonate. For skin cancers his treatment is a standard iodine tincture, a 7% solution.

The reason he uses sugary substances in conjunction with his sodium bicarbonate treatment is simple – he's tricking the cancer cells into opening up and making themselves vulnerable. He's pulling the “old switcheroo” because when the cancer cells know that sugar is on the way they are quick to open up for their favorite food source, but then all of a sudden here comes the sodium bicarbonate which floods the cancerous cells with oxygen and alkalinity, effectively killing them off. I found an interesting article on NaturalNews.com that I'd like to share entitled Five year update on the guy who cured his stage IV prostate cancer with baking soda and molasses:
“The guy is Vernon Johnston, and his story was first reported … in 2009. That was around one year after being informed he was cancer-free from stage IV prostate cancer that had metastasized into the bone matter of his pelvic area in June of 2008. Now here it is, over five years later, and apparently Vernon's still going strong, according to his website reports, videos and announcements. The last known blog posting from Vernon was in August of 2013. That's five years and two months after being pronounced cancer-free at a Veterans Administration hospital. Dr. Simoncini points to many examples of brain tumors that have been spreading that have stopped dead in their tracks due to coming into contact with a 5% sodium bicarbonate solution. He reports that sodium bicarbonate has cured prostate cancer, intestinal cancer, stomach cancer, bladder cancer, breast cancer, spleen cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, oropharyngeal cancer, peritoneal cancer, pancreatic cancer and others. When asked about his success rates he had the following to say:
“My methods have cured people for 20 years. Many of my patients recovered completely from cancer, even in cases where official oncology had given up. If the fungi are sensitive to the sodium bicarbonate solutions and the tumor size is below 3 cm, the percentage will be around 90%, in terminal cases where the patient is in reasonably good condition it is 50%.”
50% sure does beat chemotherapy's dismal 2.1%! All totaled Simoncini's success rate is about 80%, even better than Dr. Burzyinski's antineoplastons. Pretty amazing isn't it? Dr. Simoncini is from Italy, but the same dark forces that control the American Medical Association also exercise the same power and control in most other countries. When he submitted his findings to the Italian Department of Health hoping that they would officially test it in government labs, his findings were completely ignored and he eventually lost his medical license, being completely disbarred from practice for using cures that aren't approved by them.

Nevermind that it works, right!? That's beside the point. Let's just ignore that, ok? There are millions of people suffering and dying of cancer, but who cares, right? Let's take this amazing doctor's license away! And precisely how do they know there's “no scientific foundation” if they're totally and completely unwilling to test it in their labs? The true story is that they know it works but they're not interested in that because it can't be patented and it's not profitable, that's the bottom line.
The good doctor was also the target of a major smear campaign via the mainstream media in Italy and repeatedly sued for “wrongful death” and in one case sentenced to three years in prison because he allegedly caused the deaths of some of his patients. Umm, with baking soda? How so? Chemotherapy is much better, right? Mainstream “doctors” kill millions with chemotherapy but when Dr. Simoncini loses a patient they blame it on the sodium bicarbonate! Ridiculous!
As an interesting side note, the ancient text of Ayurvedic medicine, humanity's oldest medicine system, entitled Astanga Hrdayam which is over one thousand years old, actually prescribes alkalinity against cancer. It says that:
“alkali of strong potency should be used in diseases ... such as... cancerous growth[s] which are very difficult to cure.” - Vol. I, Sutra Sthana & Sarira Sthana, page 346
