A Cancer Cure for 125 Years

Meet Dr. John Beard, a Scottish embryologist who invented the “trophoblast” theory sometime around the year 1900. Beard discovered some very interesting similarities between trophoblast cells and cancer cells which led him to write his book entitled The Enzyme Theory of Cancer, an overview of his theory and evidence. Dr. Beard noticed, first of all, that both trophoblast and cancer cells feature a protective coating around them; the trophoblast has a placenta and the cancer cell has a tumor. Both also have a source of nutrition; the trophoblast has an umbilical cord and the cancer cell has a new blood supply. Trophoblast cells slow down activity at around the 8^th week of pregnancy which coincides with the completion of the digestive system and the activation of the pancreas in the fetus. At this time, the hormone that is normally released from the trophoblast (human chorionic gonadotropin or “hCG”) slows down as well. This hormone is the protective coating that is on trophoblast cells (and cancer cells!) to protect them from the immune system. This is highly interesting because only trophoblast cells and cancer cells produce this hormone. A positive urine test for hCG indicates one of two things; you're either a pregnant woman or you have cancer.

The reason that the hCG production slows down at the 8^th week of pregnancy is, other than the completion of the fetus' digestive system and pancreas, because the fetus is now producing enzymes and those enzymes break down the protective coating on the trophoblast to begin the next stage of development. This is a key point. Repeat; the enzymes break down the protective coating. Remember, this is a naturally occurring process during the course of a pregnancy, and cancer cells, as I've pointed out already, are very similar in that they have the same kind of protective coating. Therefore by deductive reasoning it should make sense that enzymes would also break down the protective coating on the cancer cells too. As an interesting side note, one of the rarest forms of cancer is cancer of the duodenum, the section of the intestines that is highest in pancreatic enzymes! Considering that the enzymes break down the barrier that protects cancer cells from the immune system, it makes all the sense in the world!

Unfortunately this cancer treatment never caught on, despite Dr. Beard publishing a book on his theory with evidence to back it up. It took another 60 years or so before anyone embraced the idea and tried to use it to treat cancer.

Meet Dr. William Donald Kelley, a Texas orthodontist, and the man who finally brought the pancreatic enzyme treatment of cancer to cancer patients. He discovered the enzyme therapy the hard way. He developed cancer at the age of 35. He had tumors in his pancreas, lungs, hip and liver. He thought he was a goner for sure, but his mother stepped in and demanded that he change his diet. She told him to eat nothing but raw foods; fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains and seeds. It took months but he began to feel better. Still battling cancer, he eventually developed some problems with his digestion and so he decided to start taking enzymes. It was at this time that he also discovered the Dr. John Beard's long ignored book on pancreatic enzyme cancer therapy. After reading that book he dramatically increased his dosage of enzymes and amazingly he was eventually totally cured of cancer and never had any problems again. Dr. Kelley went on to become a fantastic doctor who treated some 33,000 patients. Enzyme therapy takes a while to start working, consequently he did lose some patients who were too far along to be helped. But even with those issues, he still had an amazing cure rate of some 93%! Dr. Kelley generally told his patients to modify their diets, eliminating pasteurized milk, peanuts, white flour, sugar, public treated water, and all processed foods. The Kelley diet plan varied depending upon the patient's needs; their cancer type and their metabolic type. Some patients would be prescribed a diet similar to the Gerson Therapy, strictly vegetarian and all raw foods, and some patients would be prescribed high protein, low-carbohydrate “Atkins” type diets. Like Gerson, he also utilized coffee enemas for clearing out toxic buildup.

Curing so many people of cancer attracted the attention of the FDA, of course, and so they sent a young representative, a medical student by the name of Nicholas Gonzalez, to investigate and find flaws in his treatments. The goal was to prove Dr. Kelley wrong, to prove that his claims were untrue. Dr. Gonzalez showed up at Dr. Kelley's clinic in 1981 and was amazed to see patient after patient completely cured and doing just fine. Dr. Kelley opened up the files for Dr. Gonzalez, records of over 10,000 patients, and invited him to contact as many as he liked. Despite the fact that the FDA's hitman wasn't able to prove Dr. Kelley wrong, he was eventually officially prohibited from treating anything but dental disease and when he violated that order he was thrown in jail. He had also written a booklet entitled One Answer to Cancer that he was forbidden to circulate and publish! Yes, that's right. In the “land of the free” in the 1980s a man that was curing cancer over and over again was thrown in jail and forbidden to publish his book about it! 

Frustrated with the harassment of the Medical Mafia thugs, Dr. Kelley, like Gerson and Hoxsey, eventually moved his clinic to Mexico. He passed away in 2005 but he left us a book for our continuing education entitled Cancer: Curing the Incurable Without Surgery, Chemotherapy or Radiation. The “hitman” that was sent by the FDA, Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez, was so impressed that he carried on Dr. Kelley's tradition and opened up a clinic in New York City where it remains until he gets forced to Mexico like everyone else! On July 21^st, 2015 Dr. Gonzalez mysteriously died. The official word was a heart attack but the doctor was in excellent health. He was 68. That happened after a string of fishy deaths, naturopathic doctors dropping like flies all of a sudden and for no apparent reason, all too convenient for the Medical Mafia and far too suspicious not to question.
